Project Management & Business Analysis Scholarship
Capella University is pleased to extend ten $5,000 scholarships to those studying 1 of 7 specializations in the field of project management or business analysis at Capella who meet the following eligibility requirements:
- Scholarship recipients will be chosen based on the content, clarity, and writing of their responses to 5 questions regarding why they are pursuing a degree specializing in Project Management or Business Analysis, a discussion of personal strengths, educational and life experience, why they chose Capella, and one of their accomplishments (see essay questions on the online scholarship application for details). The Capella Scholarship Committee will select the scholarship recipients from among all qualified applicants.
- Award winner must be enrolled in 1 of the 7 eligible degree programs during January, February, or March 2009:
- PhD in Information Technology with a specialization in Project Management
- PhD in Organization and Management with a specialization in Project Management
- MBA with a specialization in Project Management
- MS in Information Technology with a specialization in Project Management
- MS in Information Technology with a specialization in Business Analysis
- BS in Information Technology with a specialization in Project Management
- BS in Business with a specialization in Project Management
- All applicants must meet Capella University admission requirements or be current Capella University learners.

- November 10, 2008, 5 p.m. Central Time
Application instructions
- Review the scholarship selection criteria in the online scholarship application.
- Complete the Capella University application for admission. If you have already applied to Capella University, skip this step.
- Complete the online scholarship application. (See deadlines above. Late and incomplete applications will not be considered.)
The Capella Scholarship Committee will select the scholarship recipients from among all qualified applicants, and the winners will be announced during the week of December 8. All scholarship applicants will be notified of the results by December 19. The award will be distributed evenly over 4 quarters ($1,250 per quarter) following the announcement beginning in January, 2009. In the event the learner does not remain continuously enrolled, scholarship proceeds for the quarter(s) missed will be forfeited. Recipients who do not use the full $5,000 scholarship will not be eligible for a cash disbursement or any other compensation equal to the value of the scholarship award. The scholarship award may decrease the amount of financial aid funds available to the recipient.
