Capella University has alliances with more than 20 percent of U.S. community colleges, as well as many other colleges and universities. Whether you’re a faculty member, staff member, or graduate of one of these member colleges, you can benefit from the relationship. Capella offers a wide range of degree specializations in areas such as P–12 education, higher education, business management, information technology, human capital management, health care, mental health, and public safety.

Benefits for two-year degree graduates, faculty and staff
Capella offers more than 80 graduate-level degree specializations, including specializations in the field of higher education, such as Curriculum and Instruction, Enrollment Management, Leadership for Higher Education, Postsecondary and Adult Education, and Professional Studies in Education. As a faculty or staff member in one of Capella’s alliance institutions, you can also receive the following benefits:
- Tuition reduction on all Capella University courses
- Simple application process with no GRE requirements
Benefits for community college graduates
If you’re a graduate of one of Capella’s community college alliance institutions, you can benefit from a smooth transfer of credits toward your Capella program, as well as reduced tuition. You can choose from bachelor’s specializations in the fields of business, information technology, and public safety.
Become a Community College Alliance member
Entering into an alliance agreement with Capella University allows your college or university’s alumni, faculty, and staff to move into bachelor's and advanced degree programs. To learn more, submit the Community College Alliance Request form.
