Louis Soares and Julie Morgan are two of my favorite writers/thinkiers in higher education. Below is a link to an interesting piece they did last month on innovation in higher education. It echoes some of the themes Steve Shank outlined in his address to the U.S. Chamber in May. They are worth following and this piece specifically is worth a read.

Great piece! I agree with the assertion that education business models need to adapt to deliver more value to modern learners. I also like the envisioned role for government in helping to foster necessary innovation. This seems like a very well thought out piece. Thanks for sharing!
