Library Resources – What to do after you graduate

We are often asked what library resources are available to Capella Alumni.

One important component to supporting your information needs will always be Using Libraries in Your Area.

However, some practitioners need scholarly/academic research that might not be available in their local library. After much planning, the Alumni office at Capella has put together a brand new iGuide. This new iGuide features an all new Alumni Library! The new Alumni Library is the “lite” version of what you are accustomed to using as a learner. The databases available are:

  • Academic Search Alumni Edition
  • Business Source Alumni Edition

  • CINAHL

  • Dissertations and Theses Full text

  • Ebrary

  • ERIC

  • Psychology Journals (ProQuest)

  • SocINDEX (EBSCO)

This is an exciting resource you can look forward to, after you graduate from Capella.

This is wonderful news because graduation does not mean that I will cease researching. Thank you Capella for your support.

Like JDJ and Connie, I agree that this is fabulous news. I am particularly excited about this because it will continue to allow me access to newly published dissertations. I have gotten use to reading them and find that they really inspire creative, timely thought on my end. -DC

Yeah! Graduation is the beginning of my scholarly journey not the end.
Thank you for making this available to us.
