National Library Week – April 11-17 2010

National Library Week runs April 11-17, so go ahead and take the opportunity to get to know your libraries better.

This year’s theme is “Communities thrive @ your library” and many public libraries will be holding special events to celebrate. If you’re not sure where your nearest public library is located, you can go to the National Center for Education Statistics and use their library search: http://nces.ed.gov/surveys/libraries/librarysearch/

Of course, don’t forget about the Capella University Library! We are here to help you with your research needs, not only during National Library Week, but all year long. Last year, we answered nearly 15,000 reference requests via our “Ask a Librarian” service and fulfilled more than 10,000 Interlibrary Loan requests!
