Public Safety Professionals Surveyed 10 years after 9/11

Link to 10 Years later survey resultsCapella University, in cooperation with several public service associations and the FBI National Academy, recently published a survey they conducted of over 1,000 public service and public safety professionals. The survey found these interesting facts, and so much more:

  • The vast majority of respondents (92%) feel that “the emergency preparedness community has improved.”
  • Most respondents (71%) feel that the U.S. is better prepared today for a terrorist attack than we were before 9/11
  • However, 67% also think that our federal government isn’t “giving this issue enough attention.”
