Fresh motivation and re-dedication found

I write this today because I am feeling freshly re-invigorated. Ten days ago, in Minneapolis, over 900 Capella learners graduated. There were learners in undergraduate and graduate programs from all across the country. I had the honor and privilege to assist with the event as a volunteer and it was an exciting and motivating experience. Having attended the commencement ceremony I feel energized to move forward with my own dissertation.

I am a PhD learner in the Health Care Administration program. In March I completed my comprehensive exam and I have just submitted my dissertation topic for approval. Seeing the graduates has motivated me in a way that is difficult to describe but is very real.

Thank you Capella for putting together an excellent commencement ceremony.

Thank you for volunteering and sharing your enthusiasm! Also, congratulations on being in the home stretch for your PhD. Any words of advice for other learners entering the dissertation phase of their PhD program?
