Educators in every state must adhere to a code of ethics and specific rules that govern educators. Because educators are trusted with children, they're held to high standards. If these rules aren't followed, the state licensing office can take disciplinary action, which could result in having your license taken away. Be sure you understand the code of ethics and rules governing educators in your state. Not only is it the right thing to do, but a license revocation will end an educator's career.
