Ticket and Seating Policy
The Commencement Ceremony is a ticketed event, offering general seating
Each registered learner receives up to four tickets to their Commencement ceremony. Tickets are distributed when you check in, at the registration desk. Please check the schedule for registration desk hours and location.
General seating for the commencement ceremony begins 30 minutes prior to the ceremony start. Ticketed guests should plan to be seated at least 10 minutes prior to the start of the Commencement ceremony or your seat is not guaranteed. Late seating is at the discretion of the Ushers.
Guest requiring special services such as disability seating, are asked to arrive at least 45 minutes prior to the ceremony start time. Please prearrange special seating by contacting Commencement@Capella.edu, subject line: Special Services, Commencement
There will be an overflow seating area providing live video feed to the event.
Ticket and Seating for Children attending Commencement
Children over 2 years of age must have a ticket and be accompanied by an adult to enter the hall. Your child is free to sit on your lap as long as his/her head can fit underneath your chin. Taller children seated on a parent's /caregiver's lap can obstruct the view of other patrons seated in rows behind.
