Federal Regulation 45.CFR.46

Capella University complies with the Code of Federal Regulations, also known as the Common Rule, which describes federal policy for the protection of human participants in research. The Office for Human Research Protections (OHRP) within the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) has issued guidance documents on this policy. Capella University applies the Common Rule for the protection of human research participants in accordance with these guidance documents.

It is the responsibility of the researcher to know and follow these regulations when conducting their research. Violating these regulations can result in corrective actions to ensure that the research is compliant with the regulations.
