Hello, and welcome to the Research Center! My name is Amy Donovan and I am the director of Research and Scholarship for Capella University. I oversee the University’s Human Research Protections Program and the IRB. We are really excited to be able to offer this Research Center to our Capella research community!

This site is intended to provide the education and resources needed to help prepare researchers to conduct ethical and responsible research. Inside, you’ll find information about the history of research ethics, resources and tools to help educate researchers about the responsible conduct of research, and links to things like the federal regulations and CITI training. You will also find information about our IRB members, our IRB meetings, and all of our forms and templates.

One of the things we're most excited about is an IRB interactive tool that was created specifically for our research center. This tool helps researchers get ready for the IRB application process by making sure they know which forms to use and which documents to submit.
