Seemingly Great Program (Strategy & Innovation)

October 17, 2010Anna I'm a recently accepted student and I have researched several schools in comparison to Capella's DBA program. This program seems way more advanced and opportunistic. I hold a MBA and noticed that other schools are simply using MBA course and applying to the DBA program and changing the title and description slightly. Capella's program doesn't have the flashy course title but the description shows that it's courses are on a way more advanced than a Master, focusing on the dissertation as well. Other components that make this program more advanced is the "study abroad experience" --the international experience, the writer's retreat, and the multiple residency. I hope I enjoy it as well as others!

Strategy and Innovation Specialization

March 21, 2011Edwin I am currently enrolled in the PhD organization and management program with a burning desire to pursue research and academic writings in strategy and innovation. I kind of like the PhD title and i am wondering if there is anyway of pursuing this specialization but with a PhD on graduation.

DBA in Strategy and Innovation

October 6, 2010David I am a current Phd learner at CU. While I have enjoyed the work I have accomplished, I wish that this program had been available when I started. This is right up my alley. I woul dhave soguth the DbA as my terminal degree track versus the research PhD track.

Interested in this program

October 8, 2010Jonathan I am very interested in the DBA program for Strategy and Innovation Specialization. I have spoken to an advisor, read the course guide and have checked the Capella website. What I have not done is spoken to any current students in this program to get their feedback. Are there any?

Anybody in the DBA for Business Intelligence

October 7, 2011Walt I am considering the DBA emphasizing Business Intelligence. Is anyone out there that is doing this work? I would like to hear how you are enjoying the curriculum and how long you have been at it. What are your goals after the degree? And, do find application in government with the DBA in Business Intelligence? Thanks Walt
