Students and Professors inspire the Learner

July 11, 2010Laura This program supports the concept of technology in any industry and with fellow Learners coming from many organizations it allows each student to observe how technology can be integrated. Courses are created and assignments are given to challenge the mind. Which is what an educational program should do.

Program very relevant and challenging

July 16, 2010Will One of the things every learner learns is to write, to read critically, and to synthesize information in a scholarly fashion. All experiences reinforce learning, collaborative sharing, and the mechanisms of scholarly research. "Becoming doctoral" is more than a catch-phrase; it is the essence of the program and what you actually do.

Capella University offers an excellent education for those disciplined enough to acquire it!

September 7, 2011Edithe I received my Doctorate in Organizational Management with a specialization in Information Technology Management in March, 2010, from Capella University's School of Business. I must say of all the schools I have attended, Capella offered the most rigorous program with learning objectives that were aligned closely with my interests. My dissertation was on a subject matter area related to project management, and, I am a professional project manager so this was a subject near and dear to my heart. I attended the three colloquia as required and actually wanted to attend more. Colloquia attendance is a way you, as a Capella learner, can interact with other learners and professors/instructors both inside and outside of your area of expertise. Given the opportunity, I would actually consider attending CAPELLA again as a learner in the school of business but with a specialization in project management or six sigma. I strongly recommend Capella if you wish to achieve an excellent education.

The program allowed learners to learn from each other

January 23, 2011Laurie Most programs have students learn from the university, but Capella allows the students to learn from each other. Most of the students come from international organizations and even countries which allows students to gain knowledge of new environments and technology.
