Residency requirements: Three colloquia (each includes a 4-day Weekend Experience)

In addition to your online courses, you will complete 3 colloquia, each of which includes a 4-day Weekend Experience, at specific stages in your program. In these energizing residencies, you’ll gain insights and knowledge that will be valuable during your doctoral studies and beyond.

Doctoral colloquia each have 3 steps:
Step 1: Colloquium Courseroom (opens approximately 2 weeks prior to Weekend Experience)
Step 2: Weekend Experience (4-day residency)
Step 3: Colloquium Courseroom—Assessment and evaluation (completed the week after the Weekend Experience)

What does it cost?

In addition to your online courses, you will attend three 3-day residential colloquia at specific stages in your program. These energizing residencies provide you with insights and knowledge that will be valuable during your DBA studies and beyond.

What does it cost?
The price for each DBA residency is included in your quarterly tuition, but doesn’t include costs for evening meals or travel. You’ll be responsible for making your hotel reservations and travel arrangements.

Residency requirements: One 5-day residential colloquium

In addition to your online courses, you will attend one 5-day residential colloquium. This energizing residency provides you with insights and knowledge that will be valuable during your DNP studies and beyond.

What does it cost?
The price for the DNP colloquium is $1,495 (pricing is subject to periodic adjustment), but doesn’t include costs for evening meals and travel. You’ll be responsible for making your hotel reservations and travel arrangements.

Clinical Psychology

Residency requirements: Clinical Psychology year-in-residence

In addition to your online courses, you will attend a year-in-residence, which begins in June and lasts through the following June. You begin the first June by completing one 2-week extended seminar. Over the course of the next year, you will participate in 8 additional weekends-in-residence. The year-in-residence ends with another 2-week extended seminar the following June.

What does it cost?
The price for each extended seminar (including your first weekend-in-residence) is $3,265. The price per weekend-in-residence is $275. This does not include costs for evening meals or travel. You’ll be responsible for making your hotel reservations and travel arrangements.

School Psychology

Residency requirements: School Psychology Graduate Teaching Instructor Training

In addition to your online courses, you will assist faculty members in teaching MS and Specialist Certificate in School Psychology residencies for a total of 6 weeks over the course of 3 years. Each residency is 55 hours; you will earn a total of 330 hours of face-to-face residency teaching experience.

Residency requirements: The full School Psychology year-in-residence is divided into 2 parts and typically begins the summer after you enroll. Part I is required for MS learners and Part II is required for Specialist Certificate learners (most students complete both the master’s degree and the specialist certificate).

Part I (MS) consists of a 2-week extended seminar (usually in June), and 2 additional weeks-in-residence (usually 1 in summer quarter and 1 in fall quarter).

Part II (Certificate) consists of 1 week-in-residence (usually in spring quarter) and a final 2-week extended seminar (usually in June). It’s in the Part II portion of your program that you’ll do the 1.25 years of practicum (350 hours) and internship (1,200 hours).
