Professional Studies in Education Specialization

This Professional Studies in Education specialization is designed for educators working in a variety of educational, business, and community settings, as well as those wishing to move into the field of training or adult education. The flexible program provides a foundation in educational philosophy, assessment, and theory, and allows optimal opportunity to build upon previous knowledge and experience, and choose courses most interesting or relevant to current work situations or career aspirations. People who choose this specialization are often pursuing postsecondary faculty or K–12 master teacher positions, or education, training, or consulting positions in business, nonprofit organizations, the military, health care, or government.
