Learn to apply psychological principles with amateur and professional athletics to address such issues as performance enhancement, individual and team motivation, injury recovery, and stress management. People who choose this online Sport Psychology specialization are often seeking performance improvements or career advancements in school coaching or physical education positions, or in coaching or instructional positions in park and recreation departments, fitness clubs, sports camps, or wellness programs.

Sport Psychology Masters Program

November 22, 2010Katie Before I began at Capella University, I was worried about taking classes for a psychology program online. However, my trepidation was put to rest by the enrollment counselor. Once I began classes, I realized that a learner actually gets more out of the online experience. In the courses are learners from all over the United States and other areas of the world. The ecperiences from life and work that learners share is amazing and educational. Being able to hear from every member of the class is the where the additional learning enters. When attending a traditional university, the learner has to get to class and possibly not hear what half of the students are thinking. Sometimes, from those students, the best learning is done. That is just one of the amazing and positive aspects of Capella. There are many other reasons to attend Capella, if you would like to discuss them, please let me know. Katie Gadapee
