FlexPath Full-Tuition Scholarship
You have aspirations to take your career to the next level. Capella is offering [[[COMPANY]]] employees [[[NUMBER]]]] full-tuition scholarships to help you meet that goal. The [[[scholarship]]][[[scholarships]]] will be awarded to [[[students]]][[[a student]]] starting a [[[DEGREE/SPECIALIZATION]]] program in the FlexPath learning format in [[[MONTH YEAR]]]. Applicants who meet all eligibility requirements and are not awarded the full-tuition scholarship will receive [[[a 50% tuition discount on the first 12-week session of their degree program in the FlexPath format]]] [[[the first 12-week session of their degree program in the FlexPath format tuition-free]]]. Books, Supplies, and other fees apply.
- Must meet Capella University admission requirements.
- Must be an eligible employee.
- Must be a new student enrolled in or accepted into an eligible program in the FlexPath learning format at Capella University between [[[MONTH YEAR]]] and [[[MONTH YEAR]]]. Former students reapplying to the university are also eligible.
- Maintain good academic standing (3.01.04 Academic Standing) and good financial aid satisfactory academic progress (3.01.05 FASAP).
How to Apply
1. Apply for admission to an eligible degree program at Capella University.
Submit the Capella University online admission application.
When you submit the online admission application, you’ll be prompted to create a user ID and password for your Capella account that will give you access to Campus, our online student center. Remember this information; you’ll need it to complete the scholarship application.
2. Before you apply, be sure to read the scholarship details section to understand the disbursement schedule and any other considerations.
3. Submit the [[[COMPANY]]] Scholarship application form by [[[MONTH DAY YEAR]]].
Using your Capella account login information, complete the full-tuition scholarship application on Campus, including your responses to [[[NUMBER]]] essay questions (250-500 words).

4. Begin courses on [[[MONTH DAY YEAR]]].
Scholarship Application Deadline
Application deadline is Monday, [[[MONTH DAY]]], 2020. Applications received after this date will not be considered. Recipients of the full-tuition scholarship will be notified the week of [[[MONTH DAY]]], 2020.

- The Capella Scholarship Committee will select scholarship recipients based on eligibility requirements and the content, clarity, and writing of the response to the essay questions. Scholarship criteria is subject to state and federal law, and may be modified to comply with applicable laws.
- The scholarship can be applied only to an eligible program in the FlexPath learning format.
- The effective date of the scholarship is [[[MONTH DAY, YEAR]]].
- The full-tuition scholarship will be applied to the recipient’s Capella account equal to the cost of tuition and fees during the third week of each billing session, up to a maximum of 2 years (24 months) for a Master’s program and 3 years (36 months) for a Bachelor’s program, pending the satisfaction of eligibility requirements.
- The [[[50% discount for the first billing session tuition]]] [[[tuition-free first billing session]]] will be applied to each student's Capella account during the third week of the first billing session, pending the satisfaction of eligibility requirements. Following the first session, standard tuition and fees apply.
- Recipients who do not remain enrolled through the first two weeks of the billing session will forfeit the award for that quarter or billing session.
- Recipients who change to an ineligible program, graduate, discontinue, or withdraw from Capella will have all future scholarship disbursements cancelled.
- In some circumstances, Capella billing session tuition may be lower than a FlexPath billing session scholarship disbursement. In other cases, recipients may complete their programs before they receive all FlexPath billing session scholarship disbursements. Under no circumstances will recipients be eligible for cash payment or other compensation for the value of unused disbursements.
- A recipient may complete his or her program before all FlexPath billing session scholarship disbursements have occurred. Under no circumstance will the recipient be eligible for a cash payment or any other compensation for the value of unused scholarship disbursements.
- Recipients of this tuition offer are not eligible for other Capella grants, scholarships, or discounts.
- The scholarship may decrease the amount of funding that can be offered from other sources, such as federal financial aid.
- The scholarship is intended to address the cost of attendance, including but not limited to, tuition.
- The scholarship may not be used by the same recipient for more than one degree program.
- Recipient must agree to provide feedback or testimonial upon request to Capella, which may be used for educational or marketing purposes.
- Capella University and its affiliates’ (Strayer University, DevMountain, Hackbright Academy, and Strategic Education, Inc.) faculty and staff, their spouses, domestic partners, and dependent children are not eligible for the scholarship.
