FlexPath First Session 50% Scholarship
As an experienced professional, you know the importance of expanding your career knowledge. Capella wants to help you take that step with exclusive opportunity to take 50% off your first 12-week billing session tuition. To qualify, new students must enroll in an eligible program in the FlexPath learning format and meet all eligibility requirements.*

- Must meet Capella University admission requirements.
- Must be an eligible employee, faculty, staff, or alumni or immediate family member* of an eligible employee, faculty, staff, or alumni.
- Must be a new student enrolled in or accepted into an eligible program in the FlexPath learning format at Capella University between October 2024 and March 2025. Former students reapplying to the university are also eligible.
- Maintain good academic standing (3.01.04 Academic Standing) and good financial aid satisfactory academic progress (3.01.05 FASAP).
- Must pass your first course upon first attempt. Returning students must pass first course taken upon readmission to Capella.
- Must complete and submit the scholarship application form and provide proof of employment eligibility before 11:59 p.m. Central Time the day courses begin. **
How to Apply
- Submit the Capella University online admission application. If you have already applied to Capella, skip this step.
- Before you apply, be sure to read the scholarship details section to understand the disbursement schedule and any other considerations.
- Apply now for the FlexPath First Session 50% Tuition Discount.
- To start your program on October 7, November 4, December 2, 2024, January 6, February 3rd, or March 3rd 2025 apply for the scholarship before courses begin.
*Immediate family members (children and spouse or domestic partner living in the same residence) as defined by the Internal Revenue Service, are eligible for the scholarship outlined in this Agreement.

- The 50% scholarship can be applied only to an eligible program in the FlexPath learning format.
- Recipients who do not remain enrolled through the first two weeks of the billing session will forfeit the award for that session.
- Recipients who change to an ineligible program, graduate, discontinue, or withdraw from Capella will have all future scholarship disbursements cancelled.
- A recipient may complete his or her program before all FlexPath billing session scholarship disbursements have occurred. Under no circumstance will the recipient be eligible for a cash payment or any other compensation for the value of unused scholarship disbursements.
- This scholarship is not eligible for other Capella grants, scholarships, or discounts during the first billing session. You may be eligible for a 10% tuition discount on all subsequent sessions.
- The scholarship may decrease the amount of funding that can be offered from other sources, such as federal financial aid.
- The scholarship is intended to address the cost of attendance, including but not limited to, tuition. Books, supplies and other fees apply. Travel expenses for residencies, practicum, etc., are not covered by the scholarship.
- Capella University and its affiliates’ (Strayer University, DevMountain, Hackbright Academy, and Strategic Education, Inc.) faculty and staff, their spouses, domestic partners, and dependent children are not eligible for the scholarship.
