Capella University has a broad Privacy Policy as well as policies for our websites, products and services:

Email encryption

When communicating sensitive information by email, Capella uses a Secure Email Portal to encrypt the message. This ensures that the email is secure and cannot be viewed by a third party. If you receive an encrypted email from Capella, follow the instructions to open a Secure Email Portal account. Once you've created your account, you'll be able to read secure messages from Capella directly from the Secure Email Portal. You'll also be able to use the Portal to encrypt messages that you send containing sensitive information.
