Enrollment counselors
From starting your application through the first two weeks of your program, our enrollment counselors provide one-on-one guidance. They’re here to answer all your questions and make sure you have what you need for a smooth start to your program.
Academic coaches
Your academic coach stays with you throughout your educational journey to offer support when you need it. They’ll touch base on a regular basis to help navigate university requirements, provide academic strategies and support, talk through your academic progress and discuss any changes that could affect your progress. You have your own set of goals, and your academic coach wants to help you reach them.
Financial aid advisors
Financial aid advisors help you explore how to pay for college. They can answer your questions and provide guidance on our online financial aid resources, which provide information about federal loans and undergraduate grants, military tuition assistance, veterans benefits, special aid programs and employer tuition reimbursement.
Scholar-practitioner faculty
Many of our faculty members have worked at Fortune 1,000 companies, operated their own businesses, published scholarly works and presented within their professional domains. Eighty-two percent of our faculty hold doctoral degrees. Many of them are practitioners, so you could benefit from their real-world knowledge as you prepare for your own career and gain insight into what it’s really like to work in your chosen profession. Our faculty help guide you through your program, providing timely feedback on assessments or assignments.

Career Development Center and coaches
The Capella Career Development Center is designed to help you with your career planning and development process. You can take advantage of one-on-one career coaching or tap into a community of individuals with similar professional goals and experience. As a Capella student, you can take advantage of our career resources at the start of your degree and access a database of employer job listings.

Our artificial intelligence (AI) chat, Ella, is available for students to help with any advising and financial aid related questions 24/7. Our tech support is also available 24/7. All other support teams are available during normal business hours, with limited availability on the weekends.
We have a variety of options to help you if you are struggling to find your way in your program. We recommend connecting with your coach. They are the key to getting you to the correct resource or person to help. Our faculty are also a great resource to help answer any questions and provide feedback.
Capella has multiple ways for students to fund their education. We accept financial aid, and your enrollment counselor and financial aid advisors can help point you toward additional funding resources.
Yes. Capella offers scholarships and a number of cost-saving opportunities. Capella Progress Rewards are scholarships for eligible students ranging from $2,500 to $20,000 for select bachelor’s, master’s or doctoral programs. Connect with us to learn about all our cost-saving opportunities.
