LET US HELP
Welcome to Capella
Select your program and we'll help guide you through important information as you prepare for the application process.
Our FlexPath learning format offers flexibility to help you fit earning a degree into your busy life. Set your own deadlines. Use what you already know to progress at your own pace. And take advantage of one tuition fee every 12-week billing session to help lower costs. Books, supplies and other fees apply.
Choose a degree program to see how your pace can determine your price. The more courses you successfully complete each 12-week billing session, the faster you can progress and the more you can save. Check your program’s pricing information for details.
Your program length and cost will vary depending on transfer credits, per-session cost and how quickly you complete courses. Books, supplies and other fees not included in this estimate.

Each course must be completed within 12 weeks: within that time frame, it’s up to you. With FlexPath, you can complete coursework on your schedule and move on without having to wait.
You can take one or two courses at a time. When you finish a course, you can start the next one without having to wait. There is no limit to how many courses you complete during each billing session.
All coursework is evaluated through competency-based assessments. Each assessment is broken down into competencies, or criteria, that are all assessed with one of four performance levels: distinguished, proficient, basic or non-performance. These performance levels are what appear on your official transcript for each competency within the course. If you’re struggling with an assessment, coaching and other resources are available to help you.
When you finish a course, you will automatically be registered for the next course in your program plan. If you wish to register for a course earlier, or if a new course isn’t open after 4–6 hours of finishing the prior course, contact a coach for help with registration.
With FlexPath you set your deadlines within the first 12 days of each course. While these deadlines can be adjusted at any time after you set them, you’ll be required to engage in a course activity at least once every 28 days and finish each course within 12 weeks.
