It is important to understand all educational and individual requirements for professional licensure. Capella University cannot guarantee licensure, certification, endorsement, or salary increase. State regulations vary regarding professional licensure. It is your responsibility to understand and comply with requirements for your state.
MS in Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis
- Designed to prepare learners for Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) certification or state specific Behavioral Analyst license if one is offered
- 58 quarter credits
- Consists of 12 required courses
- The specialization courses in the program are 5th edition Association for Behavior Analysis International (ABAI) verified course sequence
Professional licensure disclosures
Per 34 CFR 668.43(a)(5)(v) - General Disclosures, an institution must provide disclosures if: a program is "designed" to meet the educational requirements for a specific professional license or certification required for an occupation; or advertised as being a program that meets professional licensure educational requirements in a state for that specific occupation. The institution is required to disclose, for each state, whether the program did or did not meet the educational requirements for that state or whether the institution is unable to make such a determination.
