If you’re an RN with an associate degree, our online RN-to-MSN program can help streamline your path to a master’s degree. If you choose to take the RN-to-MSN route, you’ll receive only an MSN credential at the completion of your program and won’t receive a BSN credential, which some organizations may require. No. To apply to a Capella nursing program, you must already have a current, unrestricted RN license. You must also have a nursing degree or associate degree in nursing from an institution accredited by a U.S. Department of Education-recognized accrediting agency or an internationally recognized institution.
