*This tool provides estimates for GuidedPath tuition if you brought in: 1) no transfer credits, 2) the average number of transfer credits and 3) the maximum allowed transfer credits, effective July 8, 2024. Estimates that show “no additional credits” may reflect your tuition amount if you transfer no credits and intend to practice in a state for which no additional credits are recommended for state licensure. “Additional credits” may reflect your tuition amount if you transfer no credits and reside in a state for which additional coursework may be necessary for state licensure requirements. These values are only estimates that are subject to change, are not guaranteed reflections of what you will pay for your program and do not include the cost of books, course materials, supplies, equipment and other expenses. The amount you ultimately pay for tuition will depend on your unique circumstances, such as program specialization, transfer credits, state licensure requirements, and any other applicable tuition discounts.

Because courses are not live or in-person, you do not need to attend class at a specific time. As long as you meet the weekly deadlines for assignments and discussion posts, you can study whenever it’s convenient for you.
As a Capella student, you will be automatically registered for your first course. You can connect with your academic coach if you have questions about your first course or if you need help registering for your other courses. Registration begins 3–4 weeks before the course start date. Once you have an academic plan, you can register for courses in the upcoming term.
Most deadlines for coursework occur on Thursdays and/or Sundays but may vary by program and course. You will need to turn in your assignments before 11:59 p.m. Central Time on the dates they are due.
“GuidedPath worked best for me. I loved interacting and learning from my peers and reading posts from their points of view. I need structure so having that 11:59 p.m. cut-off time helped me to stay on task to complete weekly assignments.”

“I chose GuidedPath for my program and my experience was amazing! To have the plan laid out from the beginning and being able to see each step was a positive bonus for me. I also appreciated the flexibility within the GuidedPath to take less or more credits in a quarter or to skip a quarter if need be.”

Complete assignments with real-world application: Connect with other students in weekly discussions guided by faculty to broaden your views and apply what you’ve learned as you complete your assignments.
Understand how grading works: You’re assessed on how well you apply your knowledge of key competencies outlined in the rubric, not just how well you memorize facts.
