Three career paths to explore with a BS in health care administration
While the health care field offers a variety of career paths and focus areas, here are some of the more common paths:
Oversee patient billing including collections, payment plans, and charity care, as well as submitting claims to insurance companies and invoicing patients.
Prepare for roles in hospitals, hospital networks, or clinics that work to ensure patients receive the best possible care.
Work with clinical staff to ensure high-quality patient care and to meet compliance and regulatory requirements are met.
Prepare for roles that are responsible for the day-to-day operations of a hospital, clinic, or public health facility.
