LET US HELP
Welcome to Capella
Select your program and we'll help guide you through important information as you prepare for the application process.
Students are measured on demonstration of skills and knowledge (also known as competencies) not credit hours.
There is no set term/quarter/semester, so you can work at your own pace.
You can complete as many courses as you want, up to two at a time, each quarter for one flat fee. The faster your pace, the more money you save.
You work with your FlexPath coach to develop a personalized plan for completing each course, but you set your own deadlines.
Courses are assessment-based-you'll demonstrate your knowledge through case studies, research papers, and presentations-not standardized exams.
You can use your experience to move quickly through material you already know, so you can focus on what you don't.
Your assessments are evaluated on your demonstration of competencies. You have up to 3 attempts to revise and resubmit assessments for evaluation.
Once you finish a course, whether it takes you 2 weeks or 12, you are free to move on to the next course right away.
Your personalized plan helps you visualize your progress through each course, keeping you accountable and on track.
FlexPath faculty members are experts in their field and provide comprehensive feedback on your assessment performance.
You will be assigned a FlexPath coach to help you stay on track, achieve your goals, and navigate through the program.
Your Capella University enrollment counselor helps you decide on the best program fit for your personal and professional goals, and guides you through the application process, answering questions you have along the way.
FlexPath tutors are subject matter experts who are available to answer your questions and provide extra assistance with specific concepts when needed.
Online discussion boards and other social apps give you access to your fellow student community for support and a great network for future career and professional development.
FlexPath is available for select bachelor’s, master’s, and certificate programs.
