Biography

Dr. Nicole Aclin joined Capella University in 2019 and currently serves as academic program director for the Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) program. An accomplished nurse educator and academic leader, she has extensive expertise in curriculum development and played a key role in launching Capella’s innovative MSN Technology-Assisted Teaching and MSN Nurse Practitioner programs. Her accomplishments include receiving the Capella Star of Excellence Award (2023), earning designation as a Certified Nurse Educator (2019), and being recognized with the BHCLR Faculty Excellence Award (2018). Dr. Aclin earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) with an emphasis in Educational Leadership from American Sentinel University in 2017. She also holds a Master of Nursing Science (MNS) from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and is board-certified as an adult acute care nurse practitioner. Her clinical experience spans perioperative and women’s healthcare settings.
