Whether you’re embarking on your first degree or you’re a Capella graduate returning for your next one, it can help to review the online admissions enrollment process before you apply. These four steps walk you through what you can expect, from requirements to funding to getting started.
Capella doesn’t require a GRE, GMAT, SAT or ACT score for admission, and there’s no application fee. Have these ready before you start:
Some programs may include additional admission requirements, such as minimum GPA, so make sure you review these carefully and have everything you need to apply.
Start by creating an account. From there you’ll select your program and learning format, enter your contact information, and share your education and employment history.
Once your account is created, you’ll be able to see your Document Center where you can complete photo ID verification, submit transcript request forms and finish any other documents your program requires. Submit whenever you’re ready – you can save your progress and finish later if you need more time.
Applying for a degree program and applying for financial aid are two separate processes that work together – start both early to avoid a delay in your start date. You may qualify for federal loans or grants – find out by filling out the FAFSA.
Capella Progress Reward scholarships are available to eligible new and returning students and alumni. They aren’t need-based and don’t need to be paid back. Scholarship options can vary based on degree level, program and timing, so it’s worth reviewing what is currently available before you begin. Eligibility rules and exclusions apply.
